Up, up, and away!

After a late night of last minute packing, we are our on our way out west! We left Boston at 8 this morning and just 5 hours later here we are in Denver. After a couple more hours we'll be in San Francisco. Pretty crazy how much longer it'll take to bike.



For our in flight entertainment, we looked through sky mall (some of the finer products are pictured below).










We also attempted some dollar bill origami.


I'm not sure if the 500 mile per hour overview makes this ride ahead of us seem more or less daunting but either way it was really amazing looking down and knowing that we will be biking every mile of the way back.

After we get into San Francisco, the plan is to assemble the bike, find out what we forgot to bring, plan out our route and explore the city a bit.
